For today's DIY Friday, I turn to my new favourite magazine: Cookie! Now that I'm a mom, I read mom things- but I was uber excited to stumble on this great DIY project (in between the designer diaper bag article and the article on germs) in the March 2009 issue.Take all those mismatched chairs you've got in the basement (you know, the one from Craigslist, the two from Grandma, the one off the side of the road) and paint them all a matching colour except for the bottom 12 inches.
The result: a dining room makeover for a gallon of paint. I like it!
