Textile Tuesday: Darling Damask

For today's Textile Tuesday, we look into the history of damask. Once reserved for formal rooms, modern day applications have become much more daring and not at all unoriginal. They have come a long way from the Islamic and Byzantine weaving centres of the middle ages and now grace our walls, furniture and paper products in daring colours.

Here are a few of my favourite damask applications, enjoy!
