Ever look at a home magazine page and wish you could just "move in"? Fans of Toronto magazine Style At Home got to do just this at the first ever Style At Home Show at Exhibition Place.
There were the traditional retail booths showcasing many nontraditional wares including some of my favourite Toronto retailers Flik & Co., manor, and Chatelet. But what set this show apart were the uber glamorous home vignettes (like the one behind me designed by Lynn Spence) that were dripping in delectable design details.
Another bonus of this show- if you booked in time (although spots went very quickly!) you could have a 15 minute consultation with editors like Samantha Pynn (loving her show Pure Design on HGTV by the way) or the likes of Kimberly Seldon and many other notable Toronto based designers.
You too can have your chance to put your feet up (until they kick you out!) and feel at home in some incredibly designed suites until 6pm today at the Direct Energy Centre, Exhibition Place Toronto. Another show to add to my calendar!
